Enjoy Catania offers… Catania walking tour.
This is the tour that will take you to discover Catania and its artistic, cultural and architectural beauties; suitable for those who love to immortalize their memories through photography.
The city of Catania is home to countless artistic, historical, cultural and architectural beauties; the city is framed by the Baroque and Liberty style which represent one of the most surprising features.
The tour will start from the Giardino Bellini in Catania, a place for recreation and relaxation, known as “a Villa” by the people of Catania. After a short visit of the Garden, our tour will continue along via Etnea, the main street of Catania full of beauties in Baroque and Liberty style to be photographed and admired. Our walk will continue inside the characteristic streets of Catania, where every detail can be immortalized by photography lovers, passing between monuments, historic churches and folkloristic streets we will arrive at Piazza Federico di Svevia, seat of the Castello Ursino, where we will make a short stop and you will quench your thirst with seltz, lemon and salt, that is a typical non-alcoholic Catania drink.
After the fair you will taste a piece of our typical Sicilian hot table (cipollina, pizzetta, cartocciata or bolognese) that is a cross between a snack and street food and can replace a main meal or be tasted as a snack. The tour will end leaving us at the corner of via Etnea and via Umberto.

Paesaggi unici e percorsi mai troppo impegnativi, rendono questo tour in MTB adatto a tutte le persone che desiderano una semplice escursione in mountain bike sul vulcano Etna, senza necessariamente mettersi alla prova, ma solo per il piacere di godere degli scenari che questo vulcano può offrire.
Itinerario
Da Piano Vetore (1.750 mt circa) ci dirigeremo in Mountain Bike verso la Pista Altomontana (Etna sud), dove, tra sterrate e tratti asfaltati, avrete modo di godervi in tutto relax un tour in MTB adatto anche a coloro che, pur non avendo un allenamento ottimale, non vogliono perdersi una delle esperienze in Bici più belle che la Sicilia può offrire… il vulcano Etna.
Specifiche tecniche del tour in MTB: Itinerario di 2 ore, con caratteristiche tecniche e KM, adattabili alla capacità del gruppo.
Si ricorda che è sempre un attività fisica, e come tale, è necessaria una condizione fisica, adatta alla pedalata sportiva.

Sicily Bike Tourist Service offers… Etna MTB Challenging – Full Day.
Mountain Biking and Etna volcano… a unique combination, we have deliberately created an excursion with muscular MTB, where you can really put yourself to the test.
Mount Etna, Unesco heritage, will give you the opportunity to discover the unique and demanding characteristics of its routes by mountain bike, with landscapes of varied and inimitable morphology, giving you the opportunity to travel various types of trails by MTB, and all in a single adventure.
Itinerary
We will practice Mountain Biking in the park of Mount Etna, where fantastic trails await you to ride with our MTB, the trails of the Etna volcano will not leave you disappointed, mountain bike paths never boring and never monotonous, characterized by the typical lava sand of our volcano; climbs, descents, single tracks, paths immersed in old lava flows and centuries-old woods... lava sceneries and unique landscapes will charge your desire for MTB. Circular route by mountain bike, starting from Piano Vetore (about 1,750mt). We will start the MTB tour along a dirt path with some climbs, not particularly demanding, which will be used to warm up the muscles before the game gets really hard, the trail will take us to the Galvarina hut (about 1.900mt) where we will make a small stop to enjoy the characteristic landscape of the south/west area of the Etna volcano.
After the stop, the route will begin to take on liveliness, we will descend with our MTB towards a spectacular Etnea descent, full of long sandy and fast bends, we will cross expanses of old lava flows similar to stormy seas that will take us towards mount Ruvolo, where we will make another short stop... to enjoy the landscape scenery at altitude of 1,300mt. After the short stop, we will continue the MTB excursion with totally different scenarios and trails, characteristic of the lower altitudes of the Etna volcano, this part of the trail will be characterized by a dense forest that at times opens into wide expanses of meadows and colorful flowers, this MTB route on the Etna volcano will take us towards Case Zampini, where we recommend stopping for a packed lunch (not provided by the ORG).
After the stop at Case Zampini, the trail will get really hard... only big climbs await us, expertly interspersed with some lovely and fun trails, immersed in woods and old lava flows, all until reaching the 1,750mt (approximately) of Piano Vetore, where the MTB tour began.
KM and technical specifications of the MTB excursion: The MTB tour of about 42/45KM (according to the alternatives used by the MTB Guide) is scheduled to last about 5/6 hours on average with a lunch stop, but it is normal that the duration depends on the subjective physical capacity of the client. In case of need (excessive tiredness, illness or overestimation of one’s own state) where possible, it will be opted to shorten the tour by cutting from various alternatives.
It is understood that it is not a tour suitable for everyone, it requires an "excellent" physical and cycling preparation, herefore the characteristics of the volcano and the trails, typically sandy and full of climbs with poor grip, should not be underestimated, even considering the 2,000/2.100 s.l.m. in altitude to be faced in 42km (indicatively, since it will always be at the discretion of the guide in charge of the service, modify them, where possible… according to the needs and physical conditions of the client).

MTB path: Very challenging (technically and physically), 100% Off Road.

For Full Day Tours, is not possible to book by only one participant (except in the case in which only one participant can book tours for several days).
20% discount on the cost of the Tour, with a minimum of 2 participants, only applicable to online reservations (E-Mail or WhatsApp) at least 15 days before the date chosen for the tour.

IMPORTANT: The prices above are not inclusive of pick-up service (booked exclusively as extra), the departure for this tour is from Piano Vetore (Nicolosi), Etna Sud, where you will find: Guide, MTB and all the necessary equipment.
